Since 2013, Coffee Review editors have published an yearly list of the year’s Top 30 Coffees, ranking the most heady coffees from the thousands we cupped over the undertow of the year. Each year, we rank the 30 most heady coffees and espressos based on quality (represented by overall Coffee Review rating); value (affordability relative to other similar quality coffees); and other factors that include distinctiveness of style, uniqueness of origin, tree variety, processing method, certification, and unstipulated rarity.
This year, our warm-up of the Top 30 Coffees of 2022 will uncork on Friday, November 18, when we will reveal coffees No. 30 through No. 11. On Saturday, we will signify coffees No. 10 to No. 6. On Sunday, it will be No. 5 and No. 4 followed by No. 3 and No. 2 on Monday. We will well-constructed the warm-up on Tuesday, November 22, when we will signify our No. 1 coffee of 2022.
